Thanks for getting back to me on this. You are correct that we are distant relatives. Hopefully we can get all of the information corrected together.

Here is some more information for you.

Javier Capielo y Castejon's daughter Agripina, who was born June 25, 1892, and who we referred to as Aunt Pina, did not die in Mayaguez. She lived in Jamaica, New York and had one son Alfredo, who is alive and is 73 years old. Pina died March 27, 1980. She was a great person and we all missed her. Pina married a fellow named Daniel Vila.

Pedro Capielo, who was born June 29, 1889, married Emilia Galicia, who was born April 05, 1898 and is from Tescoco, Mexico. Emilia died April 11, 1970.

Pedro Capielo did not work for G.E. but did live in Jamaica, New York. He actually worked for a sugar company in New Jersey. He died October 22, 1982. Agripina and her son Alfredo (Freddie) lived with Pedro and Emilia till she died.
