Below is an high-level overview of the steps involved in our 3-Phase
Design Process:
Prepare and Plan
- Study and research content area, client organization, target
market, and competition in conjunction with client.
- Analyze client and user needs through stakeholder interviews,
brainstorming sessions, and surveys.
- Develop goal statements, user profiles, and needs statement.
- Prepare and present for approval a site project plan to include
a site specifications and standards document and a project management
plan.
Design and Produce
- Create the Basic Design including the site structure, site map,
navigation, and cross-links.
- Prepare resources including developing content (text, graphics,
etc.).
- Develop technical prototypes, composites and storyboards.
- Present prototype to client and obtain approval
- Produce full site
Launch, Test, Maintain, Update and Improve
- Upload files to host server, check links and graphics, access
time, accessibility and usability, and editorial content. Present
to client for approval and promote the site.
- Maintain, Update and Improve is an optional service, based on
frequency of maintenance and updating, including site optimization
for user-centricity and search engine ranking.
